Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing Listing SG, creating an account, submitting or claiming a business listing, purchasing a listing plan, or using any other service provided through the platform.

These Terms and Conditions should be read together with our Privacy Policy by Listing SG.

1. About these Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern:

  • Access to and use of Listing SG

  • Account registration and management

  • The submission, creation, claiming, verification, and management of business listings

  • The purchase of paid listing plans and promotional services

  • Reviews, ratings, comments, images, and other user-submitted content

  • The relationship between Listing SG and its users, advertisers, and listing customers

By accessing Listing SG, creating an account, submitting or claiming a listing, making payment, or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Where you use Listing SG on behalf of a company, partnership, organisation, or other entity, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms and Conditions on its behalf.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not create an account, purchase a service, or continue using Listing SG.

2. About Listing SG

Listing SG operates as an online Singapore business directory and promotional platform.

Businesses and service providers may publish information about their operations, products, services, locations, contact details, qualifications, and promotions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Listing SG:

  • Is not the owner or operator of a listed business

  • Is not an agent, employee, representative, partner, or franchisee of a listed business

  • Does not supply the goods or services offered by listed businesses

  • Is not a party to transactions between users and listed businesses

  • Does not independently verify every claim, qualification, licence, price, offer, or representation

  • Does not guarantee the quality, legality, availability, safety, or suitability of listed products or services

The inclusion of a business in the directory does not, by itself, amount to certification, recommendation, accreditation, endorsement, or approval by Listing SG.

Users should independently assess a business before making a purchase, booking, payment, or other commitment.

3. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to:

  • Create or manage an account

  • Submit or claim a business listing

  • Purchase a listing plan

  • Make payments

  • Enter into a commercial arrangement with Listing SG

General visitors may browse publicly available directory pages without creating an account.

When acting for a business, you represent that:

  • You are the owner or an authorised representative

  • You have authority to publish and manage the business information

  • You have authority to purchase services on behalf of the business

  • The information you provide is accurate and lawful

  • Your actions do not breach any agreement or duty owed to another party

Listing SG may request reasonable evidence of identity, authority, ownership, registration, licensing, or business status.

This may include an Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority record, Unique Entity Number, business email verification, licence, professional accreditation, or other supporting document.

4. User accounts

Certain services may require an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Keep your contact and account details current

  • Protect your username and password

  • Use a strong and unique password

  • Prevent unauthorised access to your account

  • Notify Listing SG promptly of suspected unauthorised activity

  • Review actions and transactions conducted through your account

You are generally responsible for account activity carried out using your credentials, except where the activity results directly from Listing SG’s failure to take reasonable care.

Listing SG may rely on instructions submitted through your account until we receive reasonable notice that the account may have been compromised.

You must not sell, transfer, sublicense, rent, share, or provide another person with access to your account without prior written approval from Listing SG.

5. Business listings

A business listing may contain:

  • Registered and trading names

  • Business descriptions

  • Unique Entity Number or registration details

  • Addresses and service areas

  • Telephone numbers and email addresses

  • Website and social-media links

  • Opening hours

  • Products and services

  • Images, videos, and logos

  • Prices, offers, and promotions

  • Licences, qualifications, accreditations, and awards

  • Other information accepted by Listing SG

You are responsible for reviewing your listing and correcting material errors or outdated information.

Listing SG may format, shorten, categorise, standardise, or edit submitted information where reasonably necessary for:

  • Consistency

  • Readability

  • Search functionality

  • Accessibility

  • Legal compliance

  • Content moderation

  • Platform operation

We will not intentionally change the substantive meaning of a listing without reasonable grounds.

Purchasing a paid listing does not exempt the listing from moderation, verification, technical, editorial, or legal requirements.

6. Information from public sources

Listing SG may create or supplement listings using information from lawful public sources, including:

  • Official business websites

  • Public social-media profiles

  • Government and professional registers

  • Maps and location services

  • Public advertisements

  • Other business directories

  • Other publicly accessible sources

A business owner or authorised representative may request a review or correction of inaccurate information.

Listing SG may require evidence of authority before transferring listing control, removing information, or making a material change.

Information obtained from public sources may be reformatted, summarised, categorised, or presented as part of Listing SG’s directory, editorial, or comparison content where reasonably necessary.

7. Paid listing plans

Certain features, categories, placements, or promotional services may require payment.

Depending on the purchased plan, features may include:

  • A dedicated business profile

  • Publication in selected categories

  • Additional business information

  • Images or multimedia

  • Website and social-media links

  • Priority review

  • Enhanced display features

  • Featured or sponsored placement

  • Placement in selected Top 10, comparison, or editorial content where expressly included

  • Lead or enquiry tools

  • Performance information

  • Additional digital visibility

  • Promotional exposure

  • Other features described on the pricing page, at checkout, in an order, or in an accepted proposal

Only features expressly included in the plan, order, invoice, or accepted proposal form part of the purchased service.

Where a plan includes a Top 10, comparison, featured, or promotional placement, the exact format, position, presentation, duration, and eligibility remain subject to the applicable plan description and Listing SG’s editorial, moderation, technical, and legal requirements.

Listing SG may change plan names, prices, and features for future purchases.

We will not normally reduce features already confirmed for an active fixed-term plan unless reasonably necessary because of:

  • Legal requirements

  • Security concerns

  • Third-party restrictions

  • Technical limitations

  • Platform misuse

  • Service discontinuation

Where a material reduction affects an active paid plan, Listing SG may offer an appropriate replacement feature, credit, extension, or refund where required by law or reasonably appropriate.

8. Orders and contract formation

Submitting an order or payment does not automatically guarantee publication or acceptance.

An order may remain subject to:

  • Successful payment

  • Completion of required information

  • Review of submitted content

  • Verification of the business or representative

  • Availability of the selected placement

  • Compliance with these Terms and Conditions

A binding order is formed when Listing SG:

  • Confirms acceptance in writing

  • Activates the purchased service

  • Publishes the paid listing

whichever occurs first.

Electronic records, communications, and contracts may be used in connection with orders and services in accordance with applicable Singapore law.

If Listing SG declines an order before substantially providing the service, we will normally refund the amount paid for that declined order.

A refund may not be available where the order involves fraud, abusive conduct, a prohibited transaction, materially false information, attempted platform misuse, a chargeback, or another circumstance where retention is permitted by law or these Terms.

9. Fees, currency, and GST

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Fees are quoted in Singapore dollars

  • Payment is required in advance

  • The service period starts when the paid service is activated

  • Third-party bank, card, gateway, or currency-conversion fees are your responsibility

  • Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Promotional prices may have separate eligibility conditions

Where the legal entity operating Listing SG is GST-registered, GST will be charged and prices will be displayed or disclosed in accordance with applicable Singapore requirements.

Listing SG will not represent that GST is being charged unless the relevant operating entity is entitled to collect it.

You authorise Listing SG and its payment providers to process information necessary to complete the transaction.

10. Payment processing

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Listing SG does not ordinarily receive complete card numbers, security codes, or online banking credentials where those details are entered directly into the payment provider’s system.

Payment providers may apply:

  • Their own terms

  • Fraud checks

  • Identity verification

  • Transaction limits

  • Currency-conversion charges

  • Processing timelines

Listing SG is not responsible for delays or failures caused solely by a bank, card network, payment processor, or incorrect payment information supplied by the customer.

11. Subscription periods and renewals

A paid listing remains active for the period stated on the:

  • Pricing page

  • Checkout page

  • Order confirmation

  • Invoice

  • Accepted proposal

Unless expressly described as automatically renewing, the paid service will expire at the end of the stated term unless renewed.

Where automatic renewal is available and selected:

  • The renewal period will be disclosed before purchase

  • The renewal price will be displayed before purchase

  • You authorise recurring charges to the selected payment method

  • Renewal continues until cancelled

  • Changes to the renewal price will be communicated before the new price is charged

  • A renewal reminder may be provided where reasonably practicable

You are responsible for keeping your payment details current.

If payment fails, Listing SG may:

  • Retry the payment

  • Suspend paid features

  • Remove promotional placement

  • Downgrade the listing

  • Allow a reasonable payment period

  • Allow the service to expire

Listing SG will not intentionally use misleading interfaces or conceal material renewal terms.

Any statutory consumer protections apply where the relevant transaction falls within their scope.

12. Cancellations

You may request cancellation through available account controls or the contact details published by Listing SG.

Cancellation normally prevents future renewal. It does not automatically reverse a completed payment or provide a refund for the current service period.

Where a fixed-term service is cancelled before expiry, it may remain active until the end of the paid period unless:

  • You request earlier removal

  • Continued publication breaches these Terms

  • The listing creates a legal or security risk

  • A regulator or rights holder requires action

  • Listing SG is otherwise legally entitled or required to remove it

Removing a listing early does not ordinarily pause, transfer, or extend the unused service period.

13. Refunds

Except where required by Singapore law or expressly stated in a refund policy, fees are generally non-refundable after:

  • The listing has been published

  • A promotional period has started

  • A featured placement has been activated

  • Work on customised content has begun

  • Listing SG has substantially started providing the service

A refund will not ordinarily be provided solely because:

  • The listing receives fewer views or leads than expected

  • A business receives no enquiries

  • Search-engine rankings change

  • AI-search visibility or citations change

  • The customer chooses not to use available features

  • The business closes or relocates

  • Submitted information is incomplete or non-compliant

  • A third-party platform changes its systems

  • A listing is suspended or removed because of the customer’s breach

  • A prohibited listing or website is rejected or removed in accordance with Section 17

Where Section 17 applies, fees may also be forfeited in accordance with the specific rules set out in that section.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a mandatory refund, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the bank or payment provider.

14. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Before initiating a chargeback, you should contact Listing SG and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

A chargeback must not be used to avoid a valid payment obligation or obtain services without payment.

Where a chargeback or payment reversal is raised, Listing SG may:

  • Suspend the relevant account or service

  • Pause publication while the dispute is reviewed

  • Provide transaction and service records to the payment provider

  • Recover unpaid fees and reasonable costs where legally permitted

  • Restrict future purchases or payment methods

This does not prevent you from disputing an unauthorised, duplicate, fraudulent, or incorrectly processed charge.

15. Listing placement and performance

Listing SG may determine how listings are:

  • Categorised

  • Organised

  • Filtered

  • Ranked

  • Recommended

  • Labelled

  • Displayed

  • Presented across devices

Placement may be influenced by:

  • Category relevance

  • Location relevance

  • Listing completeness

  • Content quality

  • Selected plan

  • Featured or sponsored status

  • User preferences

  • Availability

  • Technical requirements

  • Platform testing

Where a paid plan expressly includes a particular featured, Top 10, comparison, or promotional placement, Listing SG will provide that feature subject to the applicable plan description, availability, and these Terms.

Unless a specific numerical position has been expressly guaranteed in an accepted written order, purchasing a listing or promotional plan does not guarantee:

  • A permanent ranking position

  • First position within a category or comparison

  • Permanent first-page placement

  • Search-engine rankings

  • AI-search visibility or citation

  • A minimum number of impressions

  • A minimum number of clicks

  • Enquiries or leads

  • Customer conversions

  • Revenue or profitability

  • Business growth

Featured, promoted, or sponsored listings may be labelled accordingly.

Where comparison or editorial content contains paid promotional placements, Listing SG may identify or distinguish those placements where appropriate for transparency, applicable requirements, or editorial clarity.

Listing SG may adjust layouts and rankings as part of platform management, provided the essential paid service remains reasonably consistent with the purchased plan.

16. Listing review, suspension, and removal

Listing SG may review content before or after publication.

We may reject, suspend, edit, restrict, reclassify, or remove a listing where it reasonably appears to:

  • Contain false, misleading, deceptive, or materially outdated information

  • Impersonate another business or person

  • Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights

  • Promote unlawful, restricted, or harmful conduct

  • Contain defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, abusive, sexual, or harassing content

  • Disclose private or identifying information without lawful justification

  • Contain malware, deceptive links, phishing, or unsafe content

  • Misrepresent licences, prices, qualifications, affiliations, or business status

  • Contain fake reviews or manipulated ratings

  • Generate credible complaints requiring investigation

  • Breach these Terms and Conditions

  • Create legal, technical, security, operational, or reputational risk

  • Be subject to a court order, regulatory direction, lawful removal request, or other binding requirement

  • Be unsuitable for the platform

Where reasonable, Listing SG may give the listing owner an opportunity to correct an issue.

Immediate action may be taken where there is suspected:

  • Fraud

  • Impersonation

  • Illegal activity

  • Phishing or malware

  • Data compromise

  • Serious harassment

  • Doxxing

  • Threats or incitement of violence

  • Serious consumer harm

  • Attempted platform abuse

  • Urgent legal risk

Suspension or removal caused by the customer’s conduct, content, misrepresentation, or breach does not automatically create a right to a refund.

17. Prohibited listings, spam, and platform abuse

Listing SG reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to reject, suspend, restrict, modify, or permanently remove any listing, account, website link, review, or submitted content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, harmful, abusive, spam-related, high-risk, inconsistent with the purpose of Listing SG, or otherwise unsuitable for the platform.

Without limiting this right, prohibited or restricted activities include:

  • Illegal or unlawfully operated businesses, products, or services

  • Online casinos, gambling, betting, or related services that Listing SG does not accept

  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, adult, or sexual-service websites or content

  • Counterfeit or stolen goods

  • Unlicensed regulated services

  • Pyramid, fraudulent investment, scam, or deceptive schemes

  • Malware, phishing, malicious downloads, or unsafe websites

  • Weapons, controlled drugs, or restricted goods offered unlawfully

  • Copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights infringement

  • Fake, purchased, fabricated, or manipulated reviews and ratings

  • Harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing, or unlawful disclosure of private information

  • Intimate-image abuse or sexual material published without lawful authority or consent

  • Impersonation of a person, company, organisation, or public body

  • False or deceptive material intended or likely to materially mislead users

  • Content intended to harm another person’s reputation through unlawful or knowingly false claims

  • Content encouraging violence, hatred, unlawful discrimination, or serious harm

Listing SG also prohibits the use of the platform primarily for artificial search-engine, backlink, reputation, or engagement manipulation.

This includes:

  • Link farms

  • Private blog networks

  • Doorway pages

  • Parasite SEO pages

  • Spam websites

  • Networks primarily created for search-engine manipulation

  • Listings created primarily or substantially to obtain backlinks or pass search authority

  • Attempts to exploit Listing SG’s domain authority rather than genuinely represent a business

  • Websites or services that sell, exchange, automate, or manipulate backlinks, rankings, reviews, traffic, engagement, or other platform signals

  • Cloaking

  • Hidden content

  • Keyword stuffing

  • Deceptive redirects

  • Malicious redirects

  • Other deceptive search or promotional practices

  • Duplicate or mass-generated listings

  • Automated or low-quality listings created mainly for promotional or search-manipulation purposes

  • Affiliate, intermediary, or lead-generation websites that falsely present themselves as the underlying business

  • Attempts to bypass moderation, eligibility checks, technical controls, or previous suspension

A listing must genuinely represent the business, organisation, professional, or service described.

Ongoing compliance

Approval or publication of a listing does not constitute permanent approval of the business, website, domain, links, content, ownership, or activities associated with that listing.

Listing SG may review listings and linked websites at any time during the listing period.

A listing that was compliant when originally approved may later be suspended or removed if:

  • Its business activities change

  • Its website content changes

  • Its ownership changes

  • Its linked domain changes

  • Its website destination changes

  • Redirects are introduced

  • Prohibited content is later added

  • The listing is repurposed for another business or service

  • Other relevant circumstances change

You must not replace, redirect, repurpose, transfer, or materially modify an approved website or domain in a manner intended to bypass Listing SG’s review process or these Terms and Conditions.

Removal and forfeiture of fees

Where Listing SG reasonably determines that a user has submitted, operated, modified, or used a listing in breach of this section, Listing SG may immediately suspend or permanently remove the listing, account, promotional placement, and associated links without prior notice.

Where the breach results from the user’s:

  • Business activities

  • Website

  • Content

  • Links

  • Redirects

  • Conduct

  • Misrepresentation

  • False information

  • Search manipulation

  • Review manipulation

  • Attempt to misuse the platform

  • Attempt to circumvent moderation

Any transactions that has been completed will be forfeited and will not be refundable, subject to any statutory right, remedy, or requirement that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Payment for a listing or promotional service does not create a right to:

  • Publication

  • Continued publication

  • Backlink placement

  • A followed website link

  • Search-engine rankings

  • AI-search visibility

  • Traffic

  • Enquiries

  • Continued promotional placement

  • Continued access to Listing SG

Users are responsible for reviewing the eligibility of their business, website, and content before purchasing a listing plan.

18. Accuracy, advertising, and promotional claims

You are responsible for ensuring that your listing, advertisements, and promotional claims comply with Singapore law and applicable industry requirements.

You represent that:

  • Material information is accurate

  • Important limitations are clearly disclosed

  • Prices are genuine and current

  • Discounts are calculated against a legitimate reference price

  • Promotions have clear terms and expiry dates

  • Stock or availability claims are accurate

  • Licences and approvals are current

  • Testimonials are authentic

  • Objective claims can be supported with evidence

  • Contact channels are monitored

  • Published offers will be honoured according to their disclosed conditions

  • Paid endorsements, sponsorships, or commercial relationships will not be presented deceptively

  • You will not falsely claim that Listing SG has endorsed, certified, approved, or recommended your business

Where applicable, consumer protection laws may prohibit misleading representations, false claims, deceptive omissions, or other unfair practices.

Listing SG may request evidence supporting a material advertising or promotional claim.

19. Intellectual property owned by Listing SG

The Listing SG platform, including its original:

  • Branding

  • Design

  • Layout

  • Software

  • Database structure

  • Text

  • Graphics

  • Search functionality

  • Compilation

  • Underlying code

is owned by or licensed to Listing SG and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use Listing SG only for lawful personal or internal business purposes.

Without prior written permission, you must not:

  • Copy or republish substantial parts of the website

  • Systematically scrape or extract listing data

  • Reproduce the directory database

  • Reverse-engineer platform systems

  • Bypass technical restrictions

  • Use Listing SG branding misleadingly

  • Sell or commercially exploit Listing SG content

  • Train, build, or populate a competing directory, database, product, or service using systematically extracted Listing SG content

Ordinary search-engine or AI crawler access conducted in accordance with Listing SG’s published technical instructions is not prohibited by this section.

20. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks

Business names, logos, trademarks, and brand identifiers belong to their respective owners.

Their appearance on Listing SG is for identification, directory, comparison, informational, or promotional purposes.

Display does not automatically imply:

  • Affiliation

  • Sponsorship

  • Partnership

  • Certification

  • Endorsement

Business information may be:

  • Submitted by a business

  • Provided by an authorised representative

  • Supplied by a service provider

  • Obtained from public sources

  • Compiled through directory operations

A rights holder may submit a complaint identifying:

  • The protected material

  • The disputed listing

  • The basis of the complaint

  • Evidence of ownership or authority

  • Requested action

Listing SG may temporarily restrict, replace, or remove content while assessing a credible complaint.

Such action does not amount to an admission of infringement or liability.

21. Licence to submitted content

You retain ownership of content that you own and submit.

By submitting content, you grant Listing SG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to:

  • Host

  • Store

  • Reproduce

  • Format

  • Resize

  • Edit

  • Adapt

  • Publish

  • Display

  • Distribute

  • Promote

the content for:

  • Operating the directory

  • Displaying your listing

  • Providing purchased services

  • Creating category and location pages

  • Creating comparison, Top 10, or editorial content

  • Marketing Listing SG

  • Producing listing previews

  • Maintaining technical backups

  • Complying with legal and record-keeping requirements

The licence lasts for as long as reasonably required to provide the service and maintain necessary legal, security, archival, and backup records.

You represent that:

  • You own the content or have permission to use it

  • Publication does not infringe third-party rights

  • The content may lawfully be published

  • Required consent has been obtained from identifiable individuals

  • Claims made in the content can be substantiated

22. Reviews, ratings, and user contributions

Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences and honest opinions.

You must not submit:

  • Fake reviews

  • Reviews created without a genuine customer or relevant experience

  • Reviews written for undisclosed payment or incentives

  • Coordinated review manipulation

  • Artificially generated reviews that falsely represent a genuine customer experience

  • Reviews about a competitor where there is no genuine relevant experience

  • Threatening or abusive content

  • Harassment or doxxing

  • Defamatory or knowingly false statements

  • Personal data that is unnecessary to the review

  • Spam or unrelated promotional material

  • Content copied from another source without permission

Listing SG may moderate, reject, restrict, or remove contributions that appear unlawful, misleading, fabricated, manipulated, irrelevant, abusive, or inconsistent with platform rules.

Listing SG does not guarantee that every review is accurate.

A listed business may be permitted to respond, but Listing SG is not required to mediate every dispute between a reviewer and a business.

Listing SG may preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected review manipulation, fraud, abuse, or a legal complaint.

23. Third-party links and services

Listing SG may contain links to:

  • Business websites

  • Maps

  • Booking platforms

  • Payment providers

  • Social-media services

  • Advertising platforms

  • Other external services

Listing SG does not control independent third parties and is not responsible for:

  • Their content

  • Their privacy practices

  • Their availability

  • Their prices

  • Their products or services

  • Transactions completed outside Listing SG

  • Loss caused solely by their conduct

Access to an external service is subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.

Listing SG may remove or restrict an external link where it appears unsafe, misleading, materially different from the link originally approved, or inconsistent with these Terms.

24. Privacy, personal data, and communications

Listing SG processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 where applicable.

The Privacy Policy explains:

  • What personal data is collected

  • Why it is collected

  • How it is used and disclosed

  • How long it may be retained

  • How it is protected

  • How overseas transfers are handled

  • How to request access or correction

  • How to withdraw consent

  • How to contact the Data Protection Officer

You must not submit another person’s personal data unless you are authorised and any required notice or consent has been provided.

The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Marketing communications

Subject to applicable law and your communication preferences, Listing SG may send information about:

  • Listing plans

  • Renewals

  • Promotions

  • Platform updates

  • Business-directory services

  • Surveys

  • Other relevant services

Where required, commercial electronic communications will include appropriate sender identification and an unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism.

Listing SG will also observe applicable requirements concerning marketing communications sent to Singapore telephone numbers.

Withdrawing from marketing communications does not prevent Listing SG from sending necessary:

  • Account notices

  • Security messages

  • Payment information

  • Listing-status updates

  • Renewal or expiry notices

  • Legal or policy communications

  • Other non-promotional service messages

25. Website availability

Listing SG aims to maintain reliable access but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

The website may be unavailable because of:

  • Planned maintenance

  • Emergency maintenance

  • Software updates

  • Security incidents

  • Hosting failures

  • Network outages

  • Third-party interruptions

  • Events beyond reasonable control

Listing SG may change, replace, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

Where a material service change affects an active paid plan, Listing SG may provide a replacement service, extension, credit, or other appropriate remedy where required by law or reasonably appropriate.

26. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Listing SG is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Listing SG does not guarantee that:

  • Every listing is complete or accurate

  • Every business is properly licensed

  • Every review is genuine

  • Every price or offer remains current

  • Every business is financially stable

  • Listings will remain available indefinitely

  • The platform will be free from all errors or interruptions

  • External links will remain active

  • Businesses will respond to enquiries

  • Paid listings will receive a particular search-engine ranking

  • Paid listings will be cited or recommended by an AI platform

  • Paid listings will generate a particular amount of traffic, enquiries, or revenue

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, condition, duty, statutory right, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

27. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Listing SG will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from:

  • Use of or inability to use the platform

  • Reliance on a listing or review

  • Transactions with listed businesses

  • Outdated or incomplete business information

  • Search-engine, AI-platform, or social-platform changes

  • Lawful moderation or suspension

  • A user’s failure to secure account credentials

  • Events outside Listing SG’s reasonable control

This may include loss of:

  • Profit

  • Revenue

  • Opportunity

  • Goodwill

  • Anticipated savings

  • Data

Where Listing SG is found liable in connection with a paid service, its aggregate contractual liability may be limited to the fees paid for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, to the extent such a limitation is lawful and reasonable.

This limitation does not exclude or restrict liability for:

  • Fraud

  • Fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited

  • Wilful misconduct

  • Any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited

Any exclusion or limitation remains subject to applicable Singapore requirements concerning fairness and reasonableness.

28. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Listing SG and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents against claims and reasonable losses arising from:

  • Your listing

  • Your submitted content

  • Your business activities

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Your violation of applicable law

  • Intellectual-property claims relating to your content

  • Privacy claims arising from information you submitted

  • False or unauthorised information

  • Your misuse of the website

The indemnity does not apply to the extent that the loss was caused by Listing SG’s fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence where liability cannot be excluded, or another matter that cannot lawfully be limited.

Any indemnity is subject to applicable Singapore law, including statutory requirements concerning fairness and reasonableness.

29. Complaints and dispute resolution

Before starting formal proceedings, users and listing customers should contact Listing SG and provide:

  • Their name and contact details

  • The relevant account, listing, or order

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Supporting documents

  • The requested resolution

Both parties should attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.

Where an eligible dispute cannot be resolved directly, available Singapore dispute-resolution channels may include the Small Claims Tribunals.

The Small Claims Tribunals currently hear eligible claims up to S$20,000, or up to S$30,000 where the required consent conditions are satisfied.

Eligibility, filing deadlines, claim categories, and other conditions apply.

Consumers may also approach the Consumers Association of Singapore for assistance with eligible consumer-to-business disputes.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent court relief or exercising a mandatory statutory right.

30. Suspension and termination

Listing SG may suspend or terminate an account, listing, or service where:

  • Fees remain unpaid

  • A payment is reversed

  • Materially false information is supplied

  • These Terms are breached

  • The account creates a security risk

  • Fraud or abusive conduct is suspected

  • Illegal activity is suspected

  • Prohibited activity under Section 17 is identified

  • Continued service may cause harm

  • Action is required by law, court order, regulatory direction, or competent authority

Where reasonable, Listing SG may provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Immediate action may be taken for serious fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, impersonation, harassment, prohibited content, platform manipulation, or urgent consumer harm.

You may stop using Listing SG at any time.

Termination does not affect:

  • Accrued payment obligations

  • Existing legal claims

  • Content licences needed for archival or legal purposes

  • Indemnities

  • Liability provisions

  • Fee forfeiture arising under Section 17

  • Other clauses intended to survive termination

31. Force majeure

Listing SG will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Fire or flooding

  • Epidemics

  • War or civil disturbance

  • Government action

  • Internet or telecommunications failure

  • Cyberattacks

  • Utility failure

  • Labour disruption

  • Failure of critical third-party infrastructure

Listing SG will take reasonable steps to restore affected services where practicable.

32. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

Listing SG may update these Terms to reflect:

  • Changes to the website

  • New plans or features

  • Changes in Singapore law

  • Security requirements

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Subject to any mandatory statutory right, consumer right, tribunal jurisdiction, or other right that cannot be excluded, the courts of Singapore will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from Listing SG, its services, or these Terms and Conditions.

Nothing in this clause removes a qualifying claimant’s right to use the Small Claims Tribunals or another legally available dispute-resolution process.

35. Severability

If any provision is found unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, it will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary to preserve its enforceability.

If that is not possible, the provision will be severed.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

36. No waiver

A failure or delay by Listing SG in exercising a right does not waive that right.

A waiver is effective only if clearly given in writing and applies only to the specific matter for which it was granted.
